Jennifer Harris is a senior fellow at the Hewlett Foundation. She formerly served on the policy planning staff under former secretary of state Hillary Clinton and on the National Intelligence Council under former president George W. Bush, covering economic statecraft. She co-authored War by Other Means: Geoeconomics and Statecraft.

Edward (Ned) Hill is a professor of economic development at The Ohio State University’s John Glenn College of Public Affairs and the College of Engineering. He formerly served on high-level task forces and advisory boards related to urban revitalization and manufacturing for Ohio governors Robert Taft, Theodore Strickland, and John Kasich.

Lieutenant General (Retired) Douglas Lute is a distinguished chair at West Point and senior fellow at Harvard’s Belfer Center. He formerly served as the U.S. ambassador to NATO, deputy national security advisor for Iraq and Afghanistan, and director of operations (J3) on the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Daniel M. Price is the managing director at Rock Creek Global Advisors. He previously served in former president George W. Bush’s administration as the senior White House official responsible for international trade, investment, development, energy security, and climate change.

William Shkurti is an adjunct professor at The Ohio State University’s (OSU) John Glenn College of Public Affairs. He formerly served as director of the Ohio Office of Budget and Management, chief of staff to the chair of the Ohio Senate Finance Committee, and OSU’s vice president of business and finance.

Christopher Smart is the head of Macroeconomic and Geopolitical Research at Barings. He formerly served as special assistant to former president Barack Obama for international economics and as deputy assistant treasury secretary (leading a response to the European financial crisis).

Fran Stewart is a senior research fellow at The Ohio State University’s Ohio Manufacturing Institute and works in the Cleveland area as an independent researcher and writer on workforce development and regional economic development policy. She was formerly an Ohio-based journalist.

Jake Sullivan is a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. He formerly served as national security adviser to former vice president Joseph Biden, director of policy planning under former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, and chief counsel to U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar.

Ashley J. Tellis is the Tata Chair for Strategic Affairs and a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. He previously served as special assistant to former president George W. Bush and senior director for strategic planning and Southwest Asia at the National Security Council.

Tom Wyler is the senior vice president for global strategy at PSP Capital. He formerly served as counselor and senior adviser for international economics under former secretary of commerce Penny Pritzker and was responsible for managing the Department of Commerce’s global economics team.
