Speaking on Radio Café, Carnegie’s Rachel Kleinfeld discussed how epidemics of violence can be ended. She explained that ending epidemics of violence requires understanding that the world’s most violence places aren’t at war. Instead, they are polarized unequal democracies. To make these places better, she said, the middle class, helped by social organizers and politicians willing to make deals, must act.
