任务完成?对核武器综合体的安全文化的挑战

美国核武器综合体的口号是“任务第一位,人员永为先”(“Mission First, People Always”)。但是无党派组织公共诚信中心(Center for Public Integrity)近期开展的调查的结果显示,综合体内部对安全风险、事故、以及薄弱的管理实践表示不满,这些问题导致了可避免的辐射暴露和一些险些引发灾难的事故的发生。这些报告提出了核弹头生产和开发任务是否正在以牺牲工人安全为代价等问题。座谈会针对这些事件以及监管者和联邦承包商在美国核武器设施落实强势安全文化时所面临的更宏大的挑战进行了讨论。
