中国的“一带一路倡议”（BRI）已成为习近平时代外交政策的纲领性理念。围绕着广袤的交通、能源与电信基础设施网络建设，二十一世纪的丝绸之路即将成型，它将欧洲、非洲与亚洲连结起来，并将伴随地区间的进一步加强的货币合作与人文交流。

He is also a senior research professor in international relations and the academic director of the Master of Arts in Global Policy program at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
