Citizenship Education Project: Egypt
Fri, November 16th, 2012
Cairo
This workshop convened more than twenty leading Egyptian experts on citizenship education and also examined the findings of a study commissioned by the Carnegie Middle East Center. In addition to laying out a working plan for Egypt, participants examined the efforts of Egyptian educators to change the country’s curriculum in light of the new political order. The workshop also witnessed the launch of Egypt’s Citizenship Education Network and dedicated a session to discussing its principles, goals, and methodology.
