}Global Technology Summit Innovation Dialogue 2024
Tue, October 8th, 2024 - Wed, October 9th, 2024
Bengaluru
On October 8-9, Carnegie India held the first iteration of the Global Technology Summit Innovation Dialogue in Bengaluru. Co-hosted with the Ministry of External Affairs, the Dialogue spanned two days, focusing on closed-door sessions, organized in workshop and roundtable formats.
The dialogue focused on artificial intelligence, digital public infrastructure, and tech partnerships through closed-door workshops and roundtables featuring 170+ participants from nineteen countries. It concluded with public sessions featuring Seth Center, Shankar Maruwada, Pramod Varma, Hilda Mwakatmubula, Russell Woruba, Noureddine Boutayeb, Kamal Paudel, Ramesh Ragineni, Kamya Chandra, Melinda Claybaugh, Kishore Balaji Desikachari, Saurabh Karn, Jun-E Tan, Mike Bracken, and Rahul Matthan.
The purpose of hosting this dialogue outside Delhi was to engage technology- focused ecosystems in discussions that delve deeper into the technical aspects of technology-policy issues. It provided a platform for government officials, industry experts (both policy and engineering teams), the startup community, venture capitalists, legal researchers, and academics to discuss and debate key tech-policy issues, particularly in the areas of DPI and AI.
