Leonid Smirnyagin

This person is no longer with the Carnegie Endowment.

Leonid Smirnyagin was scholar-in-residence and co-chair of the Russian Domestic Politics and Political Institutions Program at the Carnegie Moscow Center.

He is assistant professor in Moscow State University's Faculty of Geography, a position he has held since 1997, and a member of the Russian Geographic Society.
