Gephardt on U.S.-European Relations

House Democratic Leader Richard Gephardt (D-MO) recently returned from leading a Congressional delegation on a four-nation visit to Europe, where he discussed arms control, missile defense, the future of NATO, and global warming with key leaders. At the Carnegie Endowment, he offered an assessment of U.S.-European relations and discussed opportunities to enhance strategic stability and U.S. global leadership.
