The Carnegie Middle East program hosted Prime Minister and Head of Tunisia’s Government Youssef Chahed for a discussion on the economic challenges and opportunities facing Tunisia today. Since his appointment as prime minister nearly one year ago, Prime Minister Chahed has embarked on a series of reform efforts aimed at improving Tunisia’s economic trajectory, including a pledge to undertake a “war on corruption.” Carnegie’s Chief Operating Officer Elizabeth Dibble moderated a discussion with the prime minister on these and other issues.
