Under Secretary for International Affairs Lael Brainard previewed the upcoming meeting of G20 finance ministers and central bank governors in Russia. Brainard also discussed the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue. Moisés Naím moderated.
Lael Brainard
Lael Brainard is under secretary for international affairs at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. She served as the deputy national economic adviser and deputy assistant to the president on international economics during the Clinton administration.
Moisés Naím
Moisés Naím is a senior associate in Carnegie’s International Economics Program. He is the chief international columnist for El País and La Repubblica and one of the authors on the Financial Times’ “A-List.”
