In the United States, emerging technologies translate into innovation, job growth, and military power, but U.S. companies and researchers can innovate faster with international partners. How can the United States, India, and other countries foster cooperation with like-minded nations in the Indo-Pacific region to promote areas of cooperation, assess regional strengths and weaknesses, and shape worldwide artificial intelligence norms?
Join us for a keynote by Eric Schmidt followed by a panel discussion with Bob Work, Nivruti Rai, and K. VijayRaghavan moderated by Andrew Wyckoff on the best path forward for the United States and the world. This program is organized by the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence (NSCAI), the Observer Research Foundation, and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

Eric Schmidt
Eric Schmidt is the chairman of the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence. Previously, he served as the CEO of Google from 2001 to 2011.
Bob Work
Bob Work is the vice chairman of the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence and the former deputy secretary of the Department of Defense.
Nivruti Rai
Nivruti Rai is Country Head Intel India and Vice President in the Data Platforms Group (DPG) at Intel Corporation.
K. VijayRaghavan
K. VijayRaghavan is the principal scientific adviser to the Government of India. He previously served as the secretary of the Department of Biotechnology for the Government of India from January 2013 to January 2018.
Andrew Wyckoff
Andrew W. Wyckoff is the director for Science, Technology, and Innovation at the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development.
