IMGXYZ183IMGZYXStrobe Talbott, former journalist and Washington bureau chief for Time magazine, was President Clinton’s top advisor on Russia policy and served as deputy secretary of state from 1994 to 2001. Talbott’s new book, The Russia Hand: A Memoir of Presidential Diplomacy, provides an eyewitness account of U.S.-Russian relations and the personal diplomacy carried out by Presidents Clinton and Yeltsin in the early post-cold war years.
