Nate Reynolds

About

Nate Reynolds worked on Russian and Eurasian affairs for the U.S. government for nearly twenty years.  Most recently, he served in several positions on the National Security Council (NSC), including senior advisor to the principal deputy national security advisor; director for strategic planning; and director for Russia. Reynolds was previously the senior intelligence officer for Russia in the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research (INR) and received INR’s analyst of the year for his work on Russia in 2017.  He also served as deputy national intelligence officer for Russia and Eurasia at the National Intelligence Council. 

Reynolds earned his MA in International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS),  receiving the Christian A. Herter Award for highest academic achievement in his graduating class. He earned his BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill after receiving the Morehead-Cain scholarship.
