}The Future of the Nonproliferation Regime
Mon, December 13th, 2004
Moscow
IMGXYZ365IMGZYX Discussion with Alexei Arbatov, Scholar-in-Residence at the Carnegie Moscow Center.
Arbatov provides a Russian perspective on the relationship between nuclear deterrence and nuclear proliferation, the policies of the "official" members of the nuclear club, and deterrence and nonproliferation policies in bi- and multi-lateral settings. The conclusions are the product of a working group of Russian experts, which Arbatov has chaired and which has been meeting for the past nine months in Moscow.
George Perkovich, Vice President and Director of Studies at the Carnegie Endowment, presided.
