Vrinda Sahai is a research analyst in the Security Studies Program at Carnegie India. Her work focuses on Indian foreign and security policy, particularly, India’s strategic engagement with major powers. Her current research examines India–U.S. bilateral relations, especially the evolving trade and defense dynamics shaping the partnership. She also contributes to a project analyzing ceasefire violations along the India–Pakistan border and its impact on border communities.
Her work has been published in India’s World, The Print, The Diplomat, and the Grimshaw Review of International Affairs. She holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
