Vrinda Sahai is a research analyst in the security studies program at Carnegie India. Her work focuses on India’s foreign and security policy in the context of the shifting strategic landscape of the Indo-Pacific. Her current research explores the evolution of multilateral frameworks and global governance with emphasis on India’s role at platforms such as the Quad and BRICS, and its positioning as a leader within the Global South. She also contributes to a project that analyzes ceasefire violations along the India-Pakistan border and its impact on border communities. 

Her work has been published in the Print, the Diplomat, and the Grimshaw Review of International Affairs. She holds a master’s degree in international relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
