Luca Belli is a professor of Internet Governance and Regulation at FundaçãoGetulio Vargas (FGV) Law School, where he heads the Center for Technology and Society (CTS-FGV) and the CyberBRICS project, and associated researcher at Centre de Droit Public Comparé of Paris 2 University. Luca is also a member of the Board of the Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI) and Director of CPDP LatAm. Before joining FGV, Luca worked as an agent for the Council of Europe Internet Governance Unit and served as a network neutrality expert for the Council of Europe. He is the author of more than 50 publications in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian. His research explores several areas of internet governance and regulation, focusing on data protection, Internet access, and digital transformation, with a particular focus on the digital policies of BRICS countries. Luca’s works have been quoted by numerous media outlets, including The Economist, Financial Times, Forbes, Le Monde, BBC, The Hill, China Today, O Globo, Folha de São Paulo, El Pais, and La Stampa. Luca holds a PhD in Public Law from Université Panthéon-Assas, Paris 2.

Danilo Doneda is a lawyer and law professor at the Instituto Brasileiro de Ensino, Desenvolvimento e Pesquisa (IDP), where he also heads the Centro de Direito, Internet e Sociedade (CEDIS). He is also a member of the National Data Protection and Privacy Council of Brazil and member of the IAPP Board of Directors. CyberBRICS Associated Scholar.

Smriti Parsheera is a lawyer and public policy researcher. She is currently a fellow with the CyberBRICS Project and a PhD candidate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. She has been engaged in providing research and policy advisory services to several public agencies during her time at the National Institute of Public Finance & Policy, the United Nations Development Programme and the Competition Commission of India. Smriti studied law at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore followed by a LLM at the University of Pennsylvania.

Wayne Wei Wang is a law PhD Candidate at University of Hong Kong where he served as a part-time Technology and Intellectual Property officer (trainee) at Technology Transfer Office as well as research associate at Law and Technology Centre. Trained in Engineering and Law, Wayne focuses his research interests on intellectual property, data protection and algorithmic governance in the Automating Society. Wayne held the DERN/GSAN Resilience Scholar Fellowship at University of Essex (UK), and visiting PhD Fellowship at Singapore Management University. He has also worked as an associated scholar, and since 2020, CyberBRICS fellow at FundaçãoGetulio Vargas Rio Law School (Brazil) where he annually teaches two English guest lectures on BRICS Internet Regulation and Data Protection in China. As research sprint fellow at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society in Germany, by examining AI and algorithmic content moderation, Wayne participated in the interdisciplinary project - “Ethics of Digitalisation”, launched by Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the Federal President of Germany and conducted by Global Network of Internet and Society Research Centres. Prior to his PhD studies, Wayne completed his LLM in Intellectual Property with Dean's Scholarship jointly conferred by World Intellectual Property Organization and Queensland University of Technology in Australia. He then worked as data analyst at a legal technology start-up in Shenzhen, China. Wayne is also a qualified associate fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (Advance HE).

Sizwe Snail Ka Mtuze is the senior partner at Snail Attorneys at Law. He holds a BaccalareusLegum (LLB) from the University of Pretoria with tax law and cyber-law electives also an LLM from the University of South Africa. He hold multiple posts currently and is registered with the University of Fort Hare for an LLD. He is adjunct professor in the mercantile law Department of Nelson Mandela University Law Faculty, member of South African Information Regulator, member of Films and Publication Appeal Board, international co-ordinator of the African Centre for Cyberlaw and Crime Prevention, and member of the CyberBRICS Advisory Board.

Anna Churshina is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe. She did her LLM in Medical Law (Merit) from Queen Mary University of London. She is passionate about eHealth, new medical technologies, privacy and data protection, and is a member of The International Association of Privacy Professionals.
