IMGXYZ1198IMGZYXThe Obama administration has signaled that it will reach out to the Senate to reconsider and support U.S. ratification of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) “as soon as practical.” The panel discussed the key technical and policy developments relating to the treaty over the past decade, including the maintenance of the U.S. arsenal in the absence of testing and capabilities to detect and deter nuclear test explosions.
