Yahia H. Zoubir is a professor of international studies and international management at the KEDGE Business School in France, where he is also the director of research in geopolitics. Prior to joining KEDGE in September 2005, he taught in the United States. He is the author of several books, including North African Politics: Change and Continuity (2016), Global Security Watch—The Maghreb: Algeria, Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia (2013), and North Africa: Politics, Region, and the Limits of Transformation (2008). He has also contributed many book chapters and entries in encyclopaedias. He spoke to Diwan on the margins of a conference held at the Carnegie Middle East Center on October 26 and titled “Sahel and Security in the Mediterranean.”
