Yezid Sayigh is a senior fellow in the Carnegie Middle East program. His work focuses on the Syrian crisis, the political role of Arab armies, security sector transformation in Arab transitions, the reinvention of authoritarianism, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and peace process.
