Filippo Dionigi discusses the crisis of Syrian refugees and favors a new global framework for refugee protection.

Filippo Dionigi is a lecturer in politics and international relations at the University of Bristol. His research is focused on the application of international relations theory to the study of Middle Eastern affairs. He has worked on Islamist political actors and international norms and is currently researching the impact of the Syrian refugee crisis on Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq. It is to speak about this that Diwan interviewed Dionigi in mid-April.
