Aadya Gupta was a research analyst with the Technology and Society Program at Carnegie India. Her research focuses on AI compute and informing a national compute strategy for India.
Prior to joining Carnegie India, Aadya was a research associate at DAI Research and Advisory Services, where she designed and implemented a randomized control trial for gender reskilling targeted at the Bihar Police. Her past research has been in the domain of development economics, behavioral economics, and political economy, with an overlay of gender. Aadya’s previous experience includes government consulting and advisory with Deloitte India. She also volunteers time as a mentor, particularly to young women in economics and policy.
Aadya holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Delhi, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), and a Masters degree in Economics from the Shiv Nadar Institute of Eminence.
