Abdul H. Wando is a final year PhD candidate and teaching assistant at King’s College London. He teaches world history, and his PhD research focuses on the history of humanitarian aid and nongovernmental organizations in Borno State, Nigeria, with specific reference to the Boko Haram insurgency.
