LONDON—Carnegie Endowment for International Peace was named the 2012 North American Think Tank of the Year by Prospect Magazine for its important and influential work. The winners were announced last night at the Royal Society in London.

The Prospect awards are given annually to mark outstanding impact on policy making and research during the previous twelve months. In giving the award, the judges particularly cited Carnegie’s work on Iran and the Arab Spring. For further information on the awards, click here. All of the winners will be featured in the August issue of Prospect.

Founded in 1910, Carnegie is America’s oldest international affairs think tank. Carnegie is in the process of building the world’s first truly global think tank with research centers in Washington, Moscow, Beijing, Beirut, and Brussels.
