Speaker: Dr. Avner Cohen, senior research fellow, National Security Archive at George Washington University. Dr. Cohen author of Israel and the Bomb, Columbia University Press, 1998.

Dr. Cohen spoke about the political and security factors behind Israel's decision to develop a nuclear weapons capability, and traced the development of Israel's strategy of nuclear opacity.
