The White House invited Carnegie’s Deborah Gordon to speak as a panelist at a summit of policymakers and U.S. businesses that had committed to reduce their greenhouse-gas emissions and support climate action at the Paris climate negotiations in December. Gordon spoke on the role the oil industry can play in reducing emissions through innovation, investment, and policy.
