Kyrgyzstan Since the 'Revolution'

Wed. March 8th, 2006
Washington, D.C.

On March 8, 2006, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace hosted a small, off-the-record dinner meeting with H.E. Roza Otunbayeva, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, entitled “Kyrgyzstan Since the ‘Revolution.’”  Carnegie Senior Associate Martha Brill Olcott chaired the session.

In lieu of a summary, attached is a link to an op-ed article that Minister Otunbayeva has just written for the Wall Street Journal expressing many of her views on the subject.  It can be found in March 24, 2006 issue of the Wall Street Journal or here (subscription required).

She also addressed an on-the-record session on at the Endowment on June 14, 2005. Read more on that event.
