March 3—The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace is pleased to announce that videos from its events available on the Carnegie website www.CarnegieEndowment.org will also be available for viewing on the FORA.tv web site www.fora.tv.

FORA.tv is a leading provider of online video content focused on discourse, discussions and debates surrounding the world's most compelling political, social and cultural issues. Delivering content via its proprietary FORA Player, FORA.tv distributes its content on demand and through a variety of multimedia platforms.

“Last February, the Carnegie Endowment undertook a fundamental re-definition of its role and mission to pioneer the first global think tank, adding operations in China, the Middle East, and Europe to its existing offices in the United States and Russia. The rationale for the change—Carnegie’s New Vision—is that a think tank whose mission is to contribute to global security, stability, and prosperity requires a permanent international presence and a multinational outlook at the core of its operations,” said Carnegie Vice President for Communications Peter Reid. “On the one year anniversary of our New Vision, our partnership with FORA.tv will enhance the communication of our new mission. FORA’s delivery of events and discussions from around the world are complimentary to Carnegie’s New Vision.”

“We are honored to have the Carnegie Endowment, the oldest foreign policy think tank,  share its remarkable events and discussions with the FORA.tv audience,” added Brian Gruber, founder and CEO of FORA.tv. “FORA.tv is an on demand multimedia portal delivering content on global issues. We provide an engaging and insightful experience for the world citizen and Carnegie’s programs are ideal for that audience.”

Recent Carnegie event videos available for viewing on FORA.tv include:

  • Carnegie’s New Vision
  • Russia After the Presidential Election: Major Challenges and Prospects for the Future, with Carnegie Moscow Center expert Nikolai Petrov
  • The Pakistani Army and Post-Election Scenarios, with Carnegie South Asia expert Ashley J. Tellis

Europe on Iran: Gone with the Wind

Europe’s reaction to the war in Iran has been disunited and meek, a far cry from its previously leading role in diplomacy with Tehran. To avoid being condemned to the sidelines while escalation continues, Brussels needs to stand up for international law.

Europe Falls Behind in the South Caucasus Connectivity Race

The EU lacks leadership and strategic planning in the South Caucasus, while the United States is leading the charge. To secure its geopolitical interests, Brussels must invest in new connectivity for the region.

Taking the Pulse: Is It Time for Europe to Reengage With Belarus?

In return for a trade deal and the release of political prisoners, the United States has lifted sanctions on Belarus, breaking the previous Western policy consensus.
