Roundtable Discussion with Jorge Castañeda

On January 30, Mexican Foreign Minister Jorge Castañeda visited the Carnegie Endowment for an informal discussion on the foreign policy directions of the new Mexican government under President Vicente Fox. The event, jointly sponsored by the Carnegie Endowment, Inter-American Dialogue, and Brookings Institution, featured a short presentation by Mr. Castañeda, followed by a question and answer session. The focus of the discussion was on US - Mexican relations, in anticipation of the February 16 meeting between President Fox and President Bush.
