Ceren Ergenç

Dr. Ceren Ergenç is a researcher at the East Asian Studies and Research Centre, Autonomous University of Barcelona. She holds a PhD degree from Boston University in political science. She was previously an associate professor of China studies at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and an assistant professor of international relations and Asian studies at Middle East Technical University. Dr. Ergenç’s research focuses on the domestic and international policymaking processes in China. Her recent publications include local variations in China's pandemic policies, participatory governance in local China, and China's BRI investments in Türkiye and Egypt.
