Carnegie Advertising Campaign Winner in 2003 American Graphic Design Awards Competition

The American Graphic Design Awards Competition named as a winner the print advertising campaign for Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. The advertising was developed and produced by the Alexandria, VA-based TGD Communications. Now in its 24th year, this competition is among the most prestigious and the most selective, with only 10 percent of entries are honored.

The series of three ads play on the fame of various Carnegie institutions, then focus on the achievements and contributions of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Each has a headline, "We're Not That Carnegie..." with a photo of another famous Carnegie-Carnegie Hall, Dale Carnegie, and Carnegie Deli in New York City.

The ad campaign appears in FOREIGN POLICY magazine, published by the Carnegie Endowment. The ads also have appeared in National Journal and elsewhere.

The American Graphic Design Awards Competition is sponsored by Graphic Design, USA, a monthly business-to-business magazine for professional graphic designers and related creative and production professionals.

TGD Communications is an award winning, full-service marketing communications firm, founded in 1988 and located in Old Town Alexandria, VA. As one of the top 40 advertising agencies in the DC area, TGD provides advertising, graphic and web design.
