Michael Klare directs the Five College Program in World Security Studies in Amherst, Massachusetts and has written several acclaimed books on the changing nature of warfare, including Low-Intensity Warfare and Rogue States and Nuclear Outlaws. He previously served as Director of the Program on Militarism and Disarmament at the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington, D.C.
