Issam Kayssi is a Research Analyst at the Malcolm H. Kerr Carnegie Middle East Center, where he focuses on Lebanon and Syria.

Before joining Carnegie, he co-founded Megaphone News, an alternative media platform covering politics and society in Lebanon and the Middle East.

He holds an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from the American University of Beirut, where he studied at the Center for Arab and Middle Eastern Studies (CAMES).
