Regional Security in the Middle East and North Africa

Since before October 7, 2023, regional security in the Middle East has been changing, with middle powers like Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates taking more direct roles in events both within and beyond the region. With experts from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives, the Middle East Program seeks to examine regional security not only through the lens of military strategy, but also through the lens of multilateral diplomacy, including on issues as varying as peace negotiations and cross-border climate change adaptation.
