Carnegie Europe was on the ground at the 2017 Munich Security Conference, a major annual gathering of world leaders, defense chiefs, and international security experts.

Topping the agenda of this year’s conference were the future of transatlantic relations under the new U.S. administration, the state of European security and defense, Russia, Syria, and information warfare.

Judy Dempsey, editor in chief of Carnegie’s Strategic Europe blog, offered readers exclusive access to the debates as they unfolded, providing insights on crucial security challenges.
