Minister Idrissov has been Kazakhstan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs since October 1999. Prior to his current post, he served, among other, as First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, assistant to the President of Kazakhstan for international issues, and First Secretary of Kazakhstan’s mission to the United Nations.
