应对今日朝鲜的联盟政策

美国及其盟友长期以来对朝鲜一直奉行对话和施压并行的政策,以劝阻它不追求核武器和先进的导弹技术。但是,在此美国新总统准备上台之际,朝鲜的局势已变得更加困难和危险,视线之内几乎没有有效的补救办法。此外,自2007年核协议以来(当时它同意废除核设施并揭露其整个核计划,以换取美国及其盟国在推动双方关系化上采取措施),朝鲜已经发生了深刻的变化。

这次为期半天的会议聚集了来自美国和日本的朝鲜问题专家,以探究有关朝鲜经济,军事和社会的最新信息。在此美国当选总统唐纳德·特朗普即将就任之际,为解决北朝鲜的威胁, 为打下对朝政策的联合一致的坚实基础,我们探讨了各种政策选择。

Hiroyasu Akutsu

Hiroyasu Akutsu is a senior fellow in the Africa and Asia division of the Regional Studies Department of Japan’s National Institute for Defense Studies. He works on political and military affairs on the Korean peninsula, security issues in Northeast Asia, and Japan’s strategic cooperation with the United States, South Korea, and Australia.

Joshua Pollack

Joshua H. Pollack is the editor of the The Nonproliferation Review and a senior research associate at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies' James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies. He is recognized as a leading expert on nuclear and missile proliferation, focusing on Northeast Asia.

Atsuhito Isozaki

Atsuhito Isozaki is a Japan scholar at the Wilson Center and serves as an associate professor of North Korean studies at Keio University in Yokohama, Japan. His research focuses on contemporary North Korean politics and Japan–North Korea relations.

Yonho Kim

Yonho Kim is a senior researcher in the U.S.-Korea Institute at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies where he manages projects on maritime negotiations between the Republic of Korea and China and the North Korean political economy.

Katsuhisa Furukawa

Katsuhisa Furukawa was formerly a member of the of the Panel of Experts established by the United Nations Security Council to assist in monitoring, promoting, and facilitating resoultion 1718 (2006) relating to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Sue Mi Terry

Sue Mi Terry is senior fellow for Korea at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. She was formerly a senior analyst at the CIA and Asia director at the National Security Council under both presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

Evan Medeiros

Evan Medeiros is managing director, Asia at the Eurasia Group and a nonresident senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. He previously served as special assistant to the president and senior director of Asian affairs at the White House’s National Security Council.

Victor Cha

Victor Cha is director of Asian studies and holds the D.S. Song-KF chair in the department of Government and School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. He is also a senior adviser and the inaugural holder of the Korea Chair at CSIS and previously served as director for Asian affairs on the National Security Council under former U.S. president George H. W. Bush.
