What a Trump or Clinton Presidency Could Mean for the Middle East

The U.S. presidential candidates will follow different paths in the Middle East, but it's not clear which concrete steps they will take.

Carnegie Middle East Center's Director Maha Yahya joined BBC's Global News, along with Akin Unver of Kadir Has University and Joshua Meservey of the Heritage Foundation, to discuss what each US presidential candidate's potential strategy will be in the Middle East. Yahya argued that Trump is an isolationist and that Clinton is more likely to engage in the region, but not necessarily militarily. Clinton would have more capacity and willingness to tackle major problems in the Middle East.
