Renowned television journalist and political analyst Yevgeny Kiselyev discussed the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. Kiselyev has been a preeminent voice in Russian and Ukrainian media and political circles for more than two decades. Carnegie’s Andrew S. Weiss moderated the discussion.

Andrew S. Weiss is vice president for studies at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, where he oversees research in Washington and Moscow on Russia and Eurasia. Prior to joining Carnegie, he was director of the RAND Corporation's Center for Russia and Eurasia. Weiss previously served as director for Russian, Ukrainian, and Eurasian affairs on the National Security Council staff.
Yevgeny Kiselyev is a Russian television journalist and political analyst. He is currently the director of news production at Inter TV in Ukraine. Kiselyov gained popularity in the 1990s as the host of the news show Itogi on NTV in Russia, and later became the managing director of NTV and was briefly the general manager of TV-6.
