David McNair

David McNair is executive director at ONE.org, the global advocacy organization that campaigns for justice and opportunity through smart investments and policy reform. Over two decades, he has bridged policy, academia, and advocacy; leading campaigns that reduced child mortality, mobilized billions for climate and development, and reformed global financial systems. A member of the European Council on Foreign Relations and a founding board member of the Africa Europe Foundation, he holds a PhD in social geography from Queen’s University Belfast, and led the publication of Carnegie's 2024 collection on “Why Europe Needs Africa.”
