Shatakratu Sahu is a senior program manager and research analyst with the Technology and Society program at Carnegie India. His research focuses on issues of emerging technologies and regulation of technologies. His current research interests include digital public infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and platform regulation issues of content moderation and algorithmic accountability. He also keenly explores the impact of technology on geopolitics and the broader world order. In addition to regularly publishing for Carnegie India, he has contributed to the Hindu, the Telegraph, the Statesman, and the Print.   

Prior to working at Carnegie India, he was an associate at the law firm J. Sagar Associates, where he practiced general commercial and regulatory litigation before the Indian Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, and tribunals. Additionally, he was a legal and policy advisor at EdTech startup KidsChaupal Infotech. He holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree from The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata.
