As global powers discuss the Iran deal and war continues in Yemen, many are worried that the Middle East might be on the verge of an all-encompassing war. Speaking on CNN’s Fareed Zakaria GPS, Carnegie’s Karim Sadjadpour warned that such concerns may be overstated. He explained that Iranian power should be kept in perspective: the country’s GDP is less than the state of Massachusetts and military expenditure less than 2 percent that of the United States.
