Speaking with France 24, Carnegie’s Joseph Bahout discussed the recent attack in Lebanon where the fragility of political institutions, the refugee crisis, and the increasing strain on the military have threatened to further destabilize the country. The attack also highlighted that the Syrian crisis cannot be contained and will have broader regional effects, he added.
